# Import Scans

The following are the steps to import DICOM images/scans from the system.

1. On the navigation toolbar, select **Add** and click **Import scans**.&#x20;
2. On the **Import Scans** dialog box, drag and drop the files or click **Select Files**.&#x20;

   **Note**: Only .dcm, .png, and .jpeg files are supported.

3. Navigate to the file location in your system and click **Open**. The selected file will be added in the **Import Scans** dialog box.&#x20;

4. Check the file status whether it's a **Valid DICOM** or not. If not check the file format and add the correct file.
5. Click **Add Files** option to add multiple DICOM images/scans.
6. Click **Import** option.
